Sarah is a Pinch Hitter for a Symphony

(CLICK POST FOR VIDEO) I've been an understudy before for musical theatre. Little did I know those skills would come in handy for symphony work as well!
I got the call a week in advance of the Dubuque Symphony Annual Holiday Gala Celebration, informing me that their Featured Guest Artist was sick! Four days later, I'm on a flight to Iowa, learning 'O Holy Night' and other Holiday classics to perform that weekend at the historic Five Flags Center! It was a magical weekend which included sharing the stage with an NYC-based guest conductor, David Bernard, and my little brother who happened to be making his Principal Oboe Debut with the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra!
